Eligibility Criteria
Paper 1:
- B.Ed in Nursery Teacher Training of 2 years BTC in Urdu and
- BTC/ Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education from a Recognized Teacher Training Institute / DIET
- Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
- Visually impaired candidates are not eligible to write Paper I.
Paper 2:
- B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Lit. degree with required subjects from a Recognized University under 10+2+3 Pattern and
- B.Ed from a Recognized University.
- Candidates with B.Lit., (Tamil) degree should possess either B.Ed. or D.T.Ed. or TPT.
Age Limit
- The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years.
- The age should not exceed greater than 40 years.
- There will be age relaxation for reserved categories as per the Govt. rules.

Steps to Apply TNTET 2022
- The first thing you have to do go to the official website of the department.
- Now you have to go to the examination section.
- Therefore you have to click on the link of the TET Application form.
- After that, the application form will appear on the screen.
- Now you can fill the application form.
- Take the print of the application form.

The TNTET application fee can be paid in online using Credit, Debit Card, and net banking credentials. The application fee is Rs. 500 for General and Rs. 250 for SC/ST/OBC candidates. If a candidate opting both papers, then the application fee will be double as mentioned in the above.
TNTET 2022 Application formBelow are steps to follow while filling online application form:
- Go to TNTET 2022 offiical website:trb.tn.nic.in.
- Select “TNTET 2022 application form”.
- Now the candidates have to enter the registration details like name, parent’s name, date of birth, mobile number & email ID.
- After the registration is done successfully a registration ID will be given to the applicant through registered mobile number or email ID.
- Now the candidates have to login by using the registration ID & start filling the application form by providing name of the candidate, age, educational qualifications, paper applying for, choice of test center, etc;
- After filling all the details correctly, the candidate should upload the scanned documents such as signature, passport size
photograph, caste certificate (if applicable), age & experience certificate. - As the candidates attach all the documents, he/she should pay the applicable amount of fee as per his/her category through online mode.
- The next step is to review the details filled by the candidate to eliminate any scope of error & click on ‘submit’ tab.
- After the successful filling of application form, the registration number along with password will be generated this should be kept safe for further reference.
TNTET Admit Card
- From the official website after providing the Exam authority aspirants can check their TNTET Admit card.
- By using their registration ID and Date of Birth (DOB), candidates can download their TNTET Exam Hall ticket.
- Exam authority will be provided the TNTET Admit card within 20 days before the exam date.
- Candidates only enter in the exam hall with their TNTET Admit card.
- Download admit card through name, date of birth or application number.
- Candidates need to check all the instructions of the admit card and follow them.
- Electronic Admit card/Hall ticket will be available on the web portal
- E-Admit card carries all details of the Tamil Nadu TET 2022 Examination
Result
- Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) will announce the Result after the exam complete.

TNTET 2022: Syllabus
